Amongst Love & Demons – Embroidery

Love is one of the most instinctive human feelings. It makes us strive, provides security and is seen as the base of reproduction. Love, however, does not necessarily embody all the beauty we were taught when we grow up. This feeling, so many people long for, can grow on toxic grounds which in the end destroys every beauty we try to plant on.

These embroidery pieces are the result of my toxic relationship and symbolise my balancing act between receiving deep affection and battling with raging demons beyond control.
